Bee an Arts Champion

The 2024 Bee an Arts Champion Award honors Abigail Kreuser for her many years of work on behalf of visual and performing artists in her Downtown galleries. First Kreuser Gallery and now Auric Gallery have become critical anchors in our local arts scene, helping to raise the bar for galleries across town. Abby sets a standard for the visual arts that emphasizes humanity, local action and accessibility. As a gallery owner she is notable for her emphasis on providing compensated opportunities for musicians and performing artists as well as visual artists. She is someone who puts her head down to do the tough work, and she has done valuable service as a board member of organizations like Pikes Peak Arts Council and Downtown Ventures. Our region and our arts sector are richer thanks to her caring service. Congratulations, Abby!
